present state of life is pretty enjoyable
And I guess the phrase 'money is never enough' is true
especially so for somebody with low self discipline like me
Given a dollar a day, I'll lead the a-dollar-a-day life
But given 1 grand a day, I'll lead the a-grand-a-day life
So practically savings has no place in my mind unless there's a practical purpose
I.E. Saving to buy something more expensive(which is still spending) -.-
But thus far, I've yet to see something worth(or requires) saving and the need lead a temporary frugal life
Anyhow there won't be so many,if any, periods in my life which I enjoy regular income and the carefree spending of cold hard cash
Next time we will all be plagued by other issue while spending
In uni, there will be all those work lingering in your head while you are out during the weekend
While working, there will be more to consider as you are supposedly a mature working adult who's supposed to have a sound financial mind not to spend everything u've got
So
My final point is still trying to justify my gianormous expenditure in hope of easing guilty conscience
Ha.
Whatever.
But then again while money don't buy happiness like how it works for other commodities
Money is able to buy ingredients to create forms of happiness
Food.
Anyway went to try out kim's gary restaurant at vivo level 2
it's a hk-cha chan teng based restaurant
Decent pricing
I thought it's pretty decent at around 13 for the set meal
I tried the cheese baked rice with chicken
It reminds me of an open concept of lor mai kai hahaha
They serve it wrapped in aluminium foil and placed in side those basket used for steaming xlb (idk what you call those)
And they keep their cutlery in tupperware
Cute or what?
The whole setting is very simple and warm
Why warm? I went there around 930 pm and typically restaurants would start to diminish in numbers around that time
the stark contrast between the empty and quiet walkway and the atmosphere in the restaurant probably made it all warm hustling with activity
nice overall experience at a decent price (:
Tried chardonnay and merlot this week
chilean wine
Honestly I still can't tell the differences between grapes in different country
Neither can I differentiate between different type of grapes
Just a side note
4 oz of wine (115ml?) has around 100 cal?
I drank around 1.5 bottle .__.
Time to burn excess fuel away!
I love long hearty talks
It's endearing enjoyable and make people closer to each other (:
There are people whom you are only able to have a conversation which consists of nothing more than exchange of superficial dialogue
But there are those whom you can talk till daybreak and still find that time is wayyy too short!
Okk
Weekdays, here we go again!
