Okay so I've been on a one month hiatus from blogging
Must say it's due to accumulative effect of laziness coupled with fluctuating extreme lifestyle that 'forced' me to take a long break
Now I can gladly do a quick one month summary/recap
Okay weekdays are boring and it feels like chores
But weekends are exciting if not extremely exciting
Why extreme?
Extreme not in terms of using a superlative to describe 'exciting' but the nature of excitement is extreme

1st jan
Countdown party at alvin's sis house was a nightmare due to the fighting fiasco
I was gladly/conveniently in my own state of alcohol-induced senseless-ness to comprehend what really happened
But what's over is over and that just marks a bad start to a new year but things can only get better (:

2nd jan
Pretty event-ful day
First thing in the morning was RV big walk which came after a night stayover at mk's
Though we pretty much do not know more than 80% of the population over the boonlay rv campus
But it was the past rv members that made the entire trip really worthwhile
To me it actually feels like a graduation day except that everybody's not in uniform and had grown up
Hope there would be similar large scale events like this which can serve like a gathering for all

Not to forget 2jan is xiaoxi's birthday
I must harp on the fact that she's the first to rise into the twenties, ahead of me gs cy and wl
Hahaha =P yes evil but true (:

I cameo-ed at S01's bbq at steph's house
Hahah cameo cos I only went for 1 hour to see everybody and I didn't eat any food :X
Okay so night was phuture with zh qh jm eve and phy
Quite an entertaining but (yet again) tiring night
Hahaha I was pretty much sober so it was quite funny to witness people (read: jiamin) do funny stuffs
When a person HOPS into a club u know something's not gonna go right somewhere haha and it really did
Not gonna write down details so as to give each of us some saving grace
It was a fun night though

3jan was probably spent recuperating though I can't remember anything -.-

8 - 10 jan (good boy weekend)
I don't rmb anything except that I went to modesto @elizabeth hotel to watch arsenal's match on sat
Probably a stay-home weekend
O=)

15 -17 jan (badboy weekend)
15jan
Went double o and had a great night with decent music! Even though I had just completed 20 km route march
16jan
Slept only 5 hrs and went out again at night met the favourite people and we ventured into the little been to corner called serangoon garden
Hahah okay maybe I'm not that suagu cos I've been there once most other didn't until that day =P
And from that all of us would probably realise how convenient a car can bring lol
If only........
Lol
So reached home around 2 plus I think and headed on to play ball early in the morning the next day!
Probably clocked about ten hours of sleep the entire weekend?
Self torture? Maybe.

22-24 jan (sporty boy weekend)
22 jan
night went to play bball with eileen's church friends at nus hahah quite enjoyable with all the wind and laughter
23 jan
Headed down to kallang 9 in the morning to play bball with my 2sir dudes
Played through the midday sun and boy was it hot!
Went to delta swimming complex to swim from 2 to 530
And rounded off the day with bball session number two at home u from 6 to 9
I ate only a piece of mr bean bread that lasted me the whole day
12 hours of sports ftw (: hahaha
But the result was a really bad sunburn
I'm still shedding skin today :X

29-31jan
29th
Headed to west coast park on for a little chillout session
Must say the atmosphere's really nice over there unlike what it was like years ago when we went there for litter picking hahaha
30th
Watched imaginarium of dr parnassus but didn't really catch the gist of the show
Hahah but I'm proud to have booked the show through internet on my phone cos it was painstakingly difficult to do so!

Following that was shawn hu's 21st which was quite interesting how much effort he had put in to organise the event
I finally got to meet most of my friends girlfriends hahaha it was a gf galore actually and I sat together with the singles discussing about other's gf! =P lol
Today was spent mostly trying to research on my hopefully-successful australia trip!
I intend to go sydney/canberra/melbourne
Probably 2 of the above cities at the start of april
Having friends over there certainly help hahaha probably beiru/kwanling/sarah can be my tour guide cum good host hahahh =P
Plan plan plan! Hope my leave will be approved though :X

Last day of 2009
2009 has been both unknowingly fast but agonisingly slow at the same time
The reason for it being agonisingly slow is pretty obvious
I think some people are sick of me saying it
But still I must say I don't feel a sense of purpose serving ns
I'll just take it as a NECESSARY process which will pass by soon, real soon
But that doesn't help my mentality at all zzz
And time passed real quick in terms of passing days
Maybe it's a problem unique to me but don't you feel that time passes faster and faster the older u grow? :X
Yea but I'm pretty glad that my bookouts were mostly spent fruitfully
By fruitful I don't exactly meant doing smthing meaningful
But rather fruitful = not wasting time away doing nothing playing or using comp the entire day
And this would not be possible if not for my friends and family

It would be pointless to talk about all the main events that happened this year cos there are quite a lot to speak about
it's all in the past year's entry (:
but a typical usually goes like this..
Fri bookout - meetups for dinner with individuals or late night man talks with yappy
Sat- meetups (with my favourite people, social, army pals, rv bball, nj bball, or random people :D) or bball trg with nj! Followed by stayover or hanging out until next morning
Sun- driving or morning bball session with rvbballers, afternoon and evening usually spent at home with family or a trip to the library (yes u read it right)
I must say I have had great weekends and am looking forward to the next 45 weekends coming up till I ORD
I am grateful for all everybody I have with me! It would be crazy to say my thanks to every single person but u know who you all are I'm (secretly) grateful and happy that I have u all (:
But I'm regretful for friends who were once close but gradually marginalised because 1. I neglected them, 2. Time simply do not allow frequent meetings, 3. Change is the only constant
I find option 3 very cynical yet that's the cold hard truth
All these people come and go
people who went into my life so deep
Yet they left so quick
So quick it left a mark
Like a bottomless pit

Okay so practically 2009 had been a year different from the past 12 years
For the first time during the period from september to novemeber do I not feel the end-of-year exams rush while many of my friends are immersed in all those panicky moments
Yea it's probably kinda interesting to experience/ view exam periods from a different pov
There would be people who don't really give a damn about exams
There would be people who seemingly isolate themselves and cut off contact from others in a bid to do well
Then you get all those bored nsf having practically nothing much to do during this period

Next, ns life is sort of love-hate relationship
Yes chances are there's more hate than love
But still you can't negate the love
The hate reasons are pretty obvious
Like the lack of purpose and lack of freedom
Ask most of the nsf and they will just quote a few out of our '101 reasons why we dislike NS' encyclopedia
So what do I love about it
The consistent monthly allowance has greatly increased my spending power
Something which I embrace with my arms wide open, really open
Hahah who would say no to money?
I have never eaten so much nice food within a year as compared to previous 18 year of my life
Which explains my -erhem- minute -erhem- increment in my body mass!
Is a 4 kg increase from 71 to 75kg a lot?
Hope not! :X

Ns also made me think that it would be really nice to have a girlfriend
Like having something to look forward to every week (:
But having said that
I won't rush into getting one since my social contacts is probably limited to whatever I have right now hahah

And obviously being exposed to a new group of people made me realised I'm not deserving of this 'good guy' image some people might have of me
I realised I'm selfish irresponsible uncaring ignorant inconsistent unfaithful at times
But of course not to a large extent if not I won't be able to stand myself too
still, it made me realised this ugly side of me exist
But.... I'm only human
My only consolation

Hope I will change for the better and not worse like this year
Every year is a time of self reflection and imrpovement!
Yeps that's about as much as I can think of for now.. It's getting late and probably shouldn't think so much for now hahah leave it for 2010 (:

29th december 2009
okay yea i take back my previous entry
xmas eve was spent at zirca
it was a last minute decision to go to zirca with stanley yeo
that noobshit puked damn early into the night
yea stayed around for awhile before going home
i was awake throughout the entire bus ride home
say how energetic i was!
must be the jagerbomb

yea so it's xmas
entire morning was spent sleeping
afternoon headed over to gdma's house for a gathering of some sort
i think it was probably the first time we gathered for xmas
lol had steamboat and i thought that was probably the end of xmas day already
then zh asked if we wanna go chap nh and sg's hotel at pan pacific
yea so we went there
played the drinking game
chivas again but this time it was great
which was freaking hilarious i must say
kudos to evelyn who came up with the rule to replace 'i' with watashi and 'you' with anata
and the quote of the day for me was "watashi's cup very big"
i couldnt stop laughing
anyway the craze went on
went mad
sg nh came back and it was time to send ourselves packing

yea i did the maddest thing u can think of
i went to play bball the following morning at 8am!
woots basically i was like on a suicide mission to see if i'll die from it
haha luckily i didnt but i sure was darn tired
awake for 30 hours and slept for 2 hrs before resuming activites
night was a supposed meet up at vivocity with jm qh zh yq and cat
but ended up only me and cat
it was alright for me cos im okay with going to places alone
hahaha but still it was a nice talk with cat
havent talked to her for ages

bought a new computer today with my family at simlim
must admit that my dad's money aint that easy to earn lol
bargaining ttm
at night watched sherlock holmes with jayne
spilled coke
funny shit happened as usual
was a pretty good movie
kinda like it except for the fact that they speak so fast that it was easier for me to read the chinese subtitles >.<

ahh 2009 is endingg...... goood
