returning from taiwan is such a bittersweet thing
when in taiwan i couldnt wait to be back to this sunny island again
but when im back im thinking it's kinda too sunny already
and along comes all the work and responsibilties
21 days in kaohsiung was simple and straightforward
coming back to singapore...
the reality of my hectic other half of the year sinks in
but whatever im gonna take this one week break to really chill
before everything continues again
just 5 more months and im through

anyway taiwan was pretty awesome for we have 1.5 days of rnr so considerably well spent
pictures are on facebook
almost all are pictures of food
the reason being that i did nothing else other than to keep eating throughout the 1.5days there
thanks to an awesome guide eddee
he brought me around to try lots of local food and i could have sworn i've eating quite a few days worth of lunch and dinner all in a day
lazy to explain so can just go and see the pictures (:

okay im officially no longer a teenager already
20 is a transitional age
you are too old to do what those kids in uniform do
but still too young to do what adults do
so in essence you are neither and they call you young adult
and you are given a year to get used to being an adult before you officially become one at the age of 21

anyway i got the birthday i wanted
i wanted a birthday like an ordinary day
no cake no feast
just like any other day
when people ask i said i dont feel like going out
or that i cant make it today
all for that one day of different 'ordinary' birthday just like any other
i mean it's the start of phase 3 of life
starting with as a child
went through the adolescence phase
now preparing to go to step into young adult phase
well everybody has to go through it
but everybody has the right to whine about it too HAHAH
yup when i was young i wanted to be old
when im older
i wanna be young again
this is the irony of life
life's such a bitch
contention is rarely sufficient
grass is always greener somewhere else other than where you are standing

but well it was a birthday for me still (:
